Wireless, hand-held probes can be used to measurse untargeted points using V-STARS/M.

16 different probes, each of which uses standard interchangeable CMM tips.

The probes themselves are interchangeable during a measurement. If the probe is changed, V-STARS automatically recognizes the new probe.
