V-STARS E

The V-STARS E Series offers image-based 3D coordinate measurement power and portability at an attractive price

For users not seeking the accuracy level and special features of the high-end V-STARS S8 and V-STARS M systems, but who require all the operational flexibility and versatility of these systems, GSI has introduced the V-STARS E Series. At the heart of the E Series is a modified and ruggedized digital SLR camera, customized for photogrammetric measurement applications.

The highly portable E Series systems comprise a single high-resolution digital camera, notebook computer, V-STARS software for automatic data processing, and accessories, all of which fits into two small cases that can travel as carry-on luggage.

V-STARS E5M produces an accuracy of better than 1:100,000 on objects larger than 4m, or  8µm + 8µm/m on objects of any size.

The portable, lightweight, and accurate E Series also benefits from all of the inherent advantages of photogrammetry - it is non-contact, immune to vibration and movement, and has fast on-site automatic data processing.
