V-STARS uses custom high-resolution digital cameras coupled with automated data processing to generate highly accurate dimensional measurement data very rapidly, with results being available to the user on site either in real-time or within a matter of minutes depending upon the mode of operation. The Photometrix Division produces the world renowned iWitness and Australis software systems, which are designed for moderate accuracy photogrammetric applications using off-the-shelf digital cameras. iWitness is extensively used for traffic accident reconstruction and for 3D measurements in fields as varied as architecture, archaeology and forensics.
